Minutes of the special meeting of the City Council of Apple Valley, Dakota County,
Minnesota, held July 29, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. at the City Hall pursuant to
due call amd notice thereof.
PRESENT: Councilmembers Branning, Overgard and Savanick; Clerk Asleson.
ABSENT: Mayor Garrison and Councilmember Kelly.
The meeting convened at 7:38 p.m.
MOTION: of Branning, seconded by Overgard, appointing Councilmember APPOINT ACTING
Savanick Acting Mayor for tonight's meeting. Ayes - 3 - Nays - 0. MAYOR
MOTION: of Overgard, seconded by Branning, adopting Resolution No. 1982-
93 awarding the contract for Project 80-6, Cedar Avenue Utility
Relocations to Richard Knutson, Inc., the low bidder, in the
amount of $601,499.20. Ayes - 3 - Nays - 0.
MOTION: of Overgard, seconded by Branning, to pay the claims and bills,
checks numbered 27283 through 27286 and 28637 through 28720, in
the total amount of $2,576,057.60. Ayes - 3 - Nays - 0.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:47 o'clock p.m.
The City Council then held an informal meeting to receive a.presentation from
the Dakota County HRA on a possible housing program.
