Minutes of the regular meeting of the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee of Apple Valley, Dakota
County, Minnesota, held January 14, 2026,at 7:00 p.m., at the Apple Valley Municipal Center.
Present: Greg Dahlstrom, Charles Grawe, Matt Saam,Joe Shaw,and Arthur Zimmerman
Absent: Linda Dolan, Dave McKenzie
City staff members present were: City Engineer Brandon Anderson.
Others present:
1. Call to Order and Pledge
Chair Zimmerman called the meetingto order at 7:00 p.m.
2.Approve Agenda
Motion: of Saam, seconded by Zimmerman, approvingthe agenda for tonight's meeting as
presented. Ayes-5- Nays-0.
3.Audience
Chair Zimmerman asked if anyone was present to address the Council, at this time,on any item not
on this meeting's agenda.
4. Regular Agenda
A.Approve the minutes of the regular meeting of September 10,2025
There were no amendments to the proposed minutes.
Motion: of Grawe,seconded by Shaw, approving the minutes of the meeting of September
10,2025. Ayes-5- Nays—0.
B.Approve 2025 Annual Report
There were no amendments to the proposed report.
Motion: of Grawe,seconded by Dahlstrom,approving the 2025 Annual Report. Ayes-5-
Nays—0.
C. Elect Officers for 2026
Motion: of Grawe,seconded by Saam, electingArthurZimmerman as Chair and Dave
McKenzie as Secretary for 2026. Ayes-5- Nays—0.

D.Set 2026 Meeting Schedule
Due to the Veteran's Day holiday,the group consensus was not to hold a regular November
meeting.
Motion: of Saam seconded by Dahlstrom,setting the 2026 Meeting Schedule of March 11
May 13t",July 8t",and September 9t". Ayes-5- Nays—0.
6. Informational Items
There were no informational items.
7.Adjourn
Motion: of Grawe,seconded by Zimmerman,to adjourn. Ayes-5- Nays-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
