Minutes of the July 16, 2015, Apple Valley Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
PRESENT: Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Chair Lee Strom; Committee
Secretary Patrick Sullivan; Committee Members, Noel Hammill, Boyd
Montgomery, Brenton Schulz, Parks and Recreation Director Barry Bernstein;
Department Assistant Dorene Perkins Monn; and Tradition Development
Representative Jacob Fick.
ABSENT: Kanika Gupta
ITEM 1. Committee Chair Strom called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ITEM 2. Approval of Agenda
MOTION: by Sullivan, seconded by Hammill to approve the agenda as
presented
VOTE: Yes — 5, No — 0

ITEM 4. Approval of the May 2015, Minutes.
MOTION: by Schulz, seconded by Sullivan, to approve the May 7, 2015,
meeting minutes as presented.

ITEM 5.A. Agenda Items — Tradition Development Cobblestone Lake 7a' Addition
Tradition Development Representative Fick outlined the developer's request to amend the
Cobblestone Lake Parks agreement, to be inclusive of the property commonly referred to as the
Tomlinson parcel, and thereby waiving the requirement for separate park dedication fees.
MOTION: by Sullivan, seconded by Montgomery, recommending against the
waiving of park dedication fees for the property known as the
Tomlinson parcel.
VOTE: Yes — 5, No — 0

Director Bernstein informed the Committee of his intent to contract a professional design
consultant to assist with the Kelley Park property.

adjourned.
