The Clerk said the east-west portion of Hayes Road, where it meets 142nd Street Court,
now has a bump on it because of the curb installation and a temporary barricade has been
installed. Councilman Holton said he felt the road should remain open until the connect-
ing street between Garden View Drive and north-south Hayes Road is constructed. It was
suggested a small pad of asphalt be installed over the curb to make it passable.
Councilman Hayes asked when 140th Street between Garden View Drive and Cedar Avenue
would be open. The Clerk said some time after November 12th. It is now barricaded at
each end, but not at Hayes Road. A barricade will be placed there.
