Minutes of the meeting of the City Council, City of Apple Valley, Dakota County,
Minnesota, as e Board of Review on May 7, 1974.
PRESENT: Councilmen Branning and Cozine; Clerk Asleson.
ABSENT: Mayor Largen; Councilmen Garrison and Goodoien.
Councilman Branning called the meeting to order at 7:00 o'clock p.m. He read the
affidavit of publication and the notice and announced that since there was not a
quorum present, the meeting would be continued until May 13th, 1974, at 7:30
o'clock p.m. after all persons present were given an apportunity to review the
property valuations.
The meeting was turned over to Robert J. Meiers, Dakota County Assessor. Mr. Meiers
explained the purpose of the equalization meeting and some of the effects of the
1973 tax bill. He then asked for general questions from the audience.
The rolls were then opened to the public for inspection. After all persons were
given an opportunity to inspect the rolls, the meeting was declared adjourned at
8:20 o'clock p.m. until May 13th, 1974 at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
