PRESENT: CounCilmen Peareall, Branning amd Hollenbeck; Park Director Jerry Bell (acting for Administrator.) ABSENT: Mayor Largen, Councilman Garrison. Acting Mayor Pearsall called the meeting to order at. 8:00 P.m. All residents attending took part in the pledge of allegiance to the. flag. Request for sign variance by Pemton, Inc. MOTION: of Hollenbeck, seconded by Branning, to deny request for variance from ordinance for this sign. Ayes - 3, Nays .- O. Councilman Hollenbeck sUggeSted the Building Inspector cOntaCt these people and inform them t0 find out aBout the ordinance before they erect signs. Pemtom representatives discussed sign with Council. Public Hearing Water & Sewer Improvements, property abutting Ellice Trail on North. Affidavit of Publication read and hearing Called to order at 8:15 p.m. Engineer eXPlained reason for hearing. No one appeared; no objectionS; There being no further discussion, the hearing was declared closed at 8:18 p.m. PubliC Hearing - Water, Sewer & Storm Sewer ImprovementS, Griswold-White Town- houses, Affidavit of publication read and hearing called to order-at 8:20 p.m. Engineer explained improvement.' There being no further discussion, the hearing was declared closed at 8:25 p.m. Branning questioned the private streets in the Village and who is responsible the catch basins there. MOTION: of Branning, seconded by Hollenbeck, to pass Resolution 1972-89 setti~ a public hearing for July 5, 1972, on water and sewer extensions for the new community building. Ayes - 3, Nays - O. MOTION: of Branning, seconded by Hollenbeck, to pass Resolution 1972-90 ordering the improvements for Greeuleaf 4th Addition, Lapaz Addition and the area north of Ellice Trail. Ayes - B, Nays - 0. MOTION of Hollenbeck, seconded by Branning to pass Resolution 1972-91, award- ing the bid on water and sewer extensions, Greenleaf 4th Addition, Part 2, and Lapaz Addition to Austin P. Keller COnstrUction Company, the low Bidder, in the smount of $131,161.20, less addendum number 1. Ayes - 3, Nays - O. MOTION: of Branning Seconded by Hollenbeck, to pass ReSolution 1972-92 order- lng improvements and preparation of plans and specs for Griswold-White Townhouse Addition. Ayes - 3, Nays - O. MOTION : of Branning, seconded by Hollenbeck, to pass ResolutiOn 1972-93 setting a public hearing for July 5, 1972, for Standard 0il Company Conditional Use Permit. Ayes - 3, Nays - O. planning CommiSsion minutes of May 17 and May 31, 1972, received. Police DePartment report for May received. Claims & Bills MOTION: of Hollenbeck, Seconded by Branning to pay the claims and bills checks 4282 through 4307, in the amount of $37,716.55. Ayes - 3~ Nays'. O. MOTION: of Branning Seconded by Hollenbeck, to cancel the meeting of June 28, 1972. Ayes - 3,. Nays O. MOTION: of Hollenbeck, seconded by Branning, to adjourn. Umanmously carried.
