~ Meeting of the Village Council as a Board of Review met at 7.00 P. M. Monday,
~ July 7, 1869 for the purpose of review and equalizing the 1970 assessment roll.
Present were Mayor Largen, Councilmen Garrison, Branning, Hollenbeck, Pearsall
and Clerk-Administrator, Curtis E. Olsen.
Also present was Village Assessor, John J. O'Toole, Dakota County Assessor
Robert Meiers and his assistant J. Hollenkamp.
County Assessor Meiers explained the purpose of the session and explained
that the Council had 20 days to complete its revision. He then submitted the
county assessors certificate approving assessment, along with a comparison of
68 and 69 assessments (yet incomplete).
w_, The Council then proceeded with an examination of the assessments. No
persons appeared to request a review of their assessment.
MOTION: by Hollenbeck, seconded by garrison, to accept the assessments as
presented by the County Assessor and that the necessary signature be affixed
thereto. Those in favor Hollenbeck, Garrison, Largen, Pearsall and Branning.
Opposed - none. Motion carried.
MOTION: of Branning, seconded by Pearsall to adjourn at 9:25 P. M.

Gentlemens
The Council is reminded of its meeting Monday evening, July 7th, at 7s00
p.m. as a Board of Review; also of the postponed planning commission
meeting on Tuesday, the 8th, and a regular Council meeting on Wednesday,
July 9th. The ageada for July 9th will be prepared Monday and will be
available that evening.
After reviewing the application for Cedar Knolls Trailer Park Permit
several deficiencies were noted. Developer has been notified and will
file additional information before the permit will be issued.
• The Village inspector has met with the State Fire Marshall regarding the
Teen Center. We will now summarize our findings and recommendations for
the Council and Planning Commission for their meetings next week.
Delivery of the bond proceeds were made yesterday and investments made
today. A detailed report for Cauncil confirmation will be submitted Wed•
nesday evening.
It would be appreciated if Council members would bring in banquet ticket
money in the near future. Say - Monday
