PRESENT: Mayor Largen; Councilmen Garrison and Branning; Clerk Asleson ABSENT: Cottncilmen Pearsall and Hollenbeck The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Public Hearing- Galaxie Avenue Improvements- The Mayor called the hearing open at 7:40 a.m. Mayor Largen read the legal notice. Bob Rosene described the proposed improvement, Mrs. Neitzel presented a petition against the improvement from 132nd Street to County Road 38 sad read same. She also stated that a le~.~yer had been contacted. Several people then asked questions being in the genersl nature of what was contained in the petition. (Rick Fenner and Mr. Gianetti) George Hecker spoke in general terms in favor of the improvement. Mr. Rosene stated that storm water from the zoo would be self-contained. The hearing was declared closed at 9:02 p.m. Mrs. Scott said there was dirt in her pasture on 143rd sad Galsxie. Petition for Whitney Drive Improvements. Received. Memo from Charles Kohls on Streets - noted received. Ernst and Ernst Report on Audit - noted received. NSP - Rate study received. Jim Olsen discussed financing of utility building and presented several alternatives. MOTION: of Garrison, seconded by Branning, to pass the resolution amending Section 17 of Ordinance 25 regarding the water and sewer deposit. Those in favor Garrison Branning and Largen - opposed - none. Motion carried. MOTION: of Garrison, seconded by Branning, to approve the two-way radio service contract with Air Comm. Those in favor Garrison, Brarauing and Largen - opposed - none. Motion carried. MOTION: of Branning seconded by Garrison, to pay the bills; check # 2,299 thru 2,339 in the amount of $717,287.32. Those in favor Branning, Largen and Garrison - opposed- none. Motion carried. MOTION: of Branning seconded by Garrison, to adjourn. Unanimously carried. Adjourned at 10:45 p.m. ATTEST: Mayor Clerk
