HomeMy WebLinkAbout07/19/2011 MINUTES OF LEBANON CEMETERY ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING July 19, 20ll - 2:00 p.m. � Apple Valley Municipal Center COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Nancy Anderson, Dave Kemp, Alan Kohis, Paula Moore, Gary Wagner COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT: David Brueshoff, Noel Hammill OTHERS PRESENT: Public Works Director Todd Blomstrorn � Division/Department Specialist Andrea Froeber The meeting was called to order at 2:02 p.m. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION: of Kemp, seconded by Anderson, approving the agenda for today's meeting as written. Motion passed unanimously. AUDIENCE —10 MINUTES TOTAL TIME LIMIT FOR ITEMS NOT ON THIS AGENDA There was no one present to speak. APPROVAL OF A�IINUTES — Apri119, 2011 MOTION: of Moore, seconded by Kemp, approving the minutes of the April 19, 201 l, meeting, as written. Motion passed unanimously. 1vEW/CONTINUED BUSINESS Activity Report Mr. Blomstrom reviewed the Lebanon Cemetery Activity Report for second quarter as provided in the packet. Maintenance and Grounds Mr. Blomstrom reported maintenance in the second quarter consisted of mowing, trimming and standard removal of unapproved items. Weeds were sprayed with second application. Broken hydrant is being repaired and new faucet has been installed. Asphalt is on hold until irrigafion work is completed. Review Website Update comments were all positive. 2012 CIP Items Mr. Blomstrom reported that the 2012 proposed budget has been submitted. The major items for 2011 include: installation/connection of base irrigation system, concrete paving for boulder area, plan further design work for cemetery, tree planting. The committee also discussed potential capital improvement projects for 2012. OTHER BUSINESS City News Article Mr. Blomstrom commented on the Summer 2011 Cit,� cemetery article. ADJOURN MOTION: of Moore, seconded by Wagner to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
