Stop Sign Request at Juniper and Walnut Mr. Anderson said the intersection is in an older neighborhood from the late 1960's and there is inconsistency as to what intersections have stop signs and what intersections are uncontrolled. He noted that the roads in the area are due for reconstruction in several years. Walnut carries the bulk of the neighborhood traffic. The intersection does not meet warrants for a three-way stop condition. Mr. Anderson recommended a stop sign for traffic on Juniper as it meets Walnut. He also recommended adding two additional stop signs at similar intersections on Walnut and one at Elm to provide consistency. MOTION: Mr. Grawe moved, second by Mr. McKenzie, to recommend the installation of four stop signs as recommended by the City Engineer.
