B. Cemetery Improvements
New Columbarium Area – Mr. Lathrop discussed the proposed design for the new
Columbarium that is planned to be installed near the south side of the memorial shelter.
Multiple columbaria are planned for this area, but will be installed in phases. The first phase of
installation will include all footings, concrete and one columbarium. A future phase will include
a water feature. Discussion was had on the future water feature, all in attendance were in
agreement that simpler would be better due to maintenance and winterization needs. A
question was posed by a committee member on pricing from other vendors on the proposed
Columbaria. Mr. Lathrop replied that pricing from a different vendor was much higher and did
not match the planned vision. Discussion was had on install dates for the new columbarium,
the install might not occur until Winter of 2022 or early 2023 depending on when agreements
are signed and also dependent on vendor’s schedule.
MOTION: of D. Kemp seconded by N. Anderson, accepting proposed Cemetery Improvements.
C. 1st Quarter Activity Report
MOTION: of N. Anderson seconded by D. Kurtz, accepting the Activity Report for First Quarter.
D. Maintenance and Grounds Update
Mr. Lathrop stated that a full cemetery cleanup had taken place in mid-March that included
retrieving non-regulation items from burial sites and filling burial sites that might have sunk over
the winter. A full restoration is pending, due to the weather conditions. Flowers are to be planted
