October 2, 1986
Minutes of the special meeting of the City Council of Apple Valley, Dakota County,
Minnesota, held October 2nd, 1986, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at City Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor Branning; Councilmembers Holton, Humphrey (attended at 8:05 p.m.)
and Savanick.
ABSENT: Councilmember Goodwin.
City staff members present were: City Administrator Asleson, City Clerk Mueller, City
Engineer Rosene, Personnel Director Boland, Community Development Director Gretz, and
Assistant Administrator Lawell.
Mayor Branning called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Gretz distributed a memo dated October 2, 1986, concerning the Planning Commission's
recommendation on replatting Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 3, Valley Commercial Park 2nd
Addition as Northrup Conklin Addition.
MOTION: of Holton, seconded by Savanick, adopting Resolution No.
1986-213 approving the preliminary and final plat of Northrup
Conklin Addition, as recommended by the Planning Commission,
and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the same. Ayes
3 - Nays - O.

Mr. Gretz distributed a memo dated October 2, 1986, concerning a temporary waiver of
platting for property in Owen Plat One. (Councilmember Humphrey attended at this time.)
MOTION: of Holton, seconded by Humphrey, adopting Resolution No.
1986-212 approving a temporary waiver of platting for
property to be platted as Owen Plat One to allow transfer of
title prior to filing the final plat. Ayes - 4 - Nays - 0.

CLAIMS & BILLS
MOTION: of Holton, seconded by Savanick, to pay the claims and
bills, checks numbered 31120, 51013 through 51055 and 51057
through 51095, in the total amount of $925,903.65. Ayes - 4
- Nays - 0.
MOTION: of Holton, seconded by Savanick, to adjourn. Ayes - 4 - Nays - 0.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 o'clock p.m.
The Council then continued with its regular informal meeting.
