CITY OF APPLE VALLEY
URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
November 18, 1976
PRESENT: Edwards, Goering, Myers, Hecker, Regis
The committee further discussed the Transient Merchant License Ordinance and
decided that they are not in favor of the change recommended by Mr. Asleson.
However, they would like to have Mr. Asleson further explain his amendment.
The committee would also like to have input from the Council.
It was reported that the City Council approved the proposed Snowmobile
Ordinance with changes made by the City Attorney.
Information regarding an ordinance regulating "Saunas and Massage Parlors"
will be requested from the League of Municipalities and the Committee
will begin reviewing the information in January. "
Due to the busy schedules in December and the fact that the committee does
not have a deadline on the Transient Merchant License change they have
unanimously decided to not meet during the month of December. The next
Urban Affairs Co�ittee meeting will be held on Thursday, January 6, 1977
at 7:30 p.m.
