URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
March 18, 1976 -- 7:30
Present: Jim, Ronay, George Hecker, Hank Myers, Richard Edwaxds, Joan Goering
Absent: Dennis Boston & Dorothy Regis
The Committee decided to make a recommendation to the City Council regarding
the "Restricted Hours of Operation" - New Years Day at the same time that
they present the "Wine Only Ordinance" to the City Council in final draft.
There was discussion of the fees charged for Wine Only Licenses in the Metro
area. The average is $538.00. The committee decided to recommend that
Apple Valley charge $500.00.
The committee decided not to charge an additional fee for Sunday.
The remainder of the meeting was spent working on the "Wine Only" ordinance.
Attached is a double spaced copy of the proposal completed to Section 10.
The Urban Affairs Committee will not meet on April lst. The next meeting
will be April 15, 1976 at 7:30 p.m.
