URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

PRESENT: Jim Ronay, Hank Myers, Dick Edwards, George Hecker .
ABSENT: Dennis Boston, Dorothy Regis, Joan Goering

The Committee briefly discussed the new� zoning ordinance.
The remainder of the meeting .was spent working on the "Wine Only Ordinance".
There was some discussion on the amount of the license fee -- it was decided to
recommend a fee of $500.00. Attached is a copy of fees that are charged in the
Metropolitan Area..
There was considerable discussion on the "Restricted Hours of Operation."
After discussing Section 12, E -- New Years Day with Mr. Aslesen, he suggested
that the Urban Affairs committee make a recommendation to the City Council to
Amand:. the Liquor Ordinance to say 8:00 o'clock a.m. rather than p.m.
The committes. will cantinue their wark on the Wine Only Ordinance at the next
meeting, Thursday, March 18, 1976 at 7:30. There wiZl not be a meeting on Agril lst.
