URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MINUTES
App1e Va11ey City Ha11, Thursday, Janua ry 15, 1976 at 7:30 p.m.
Present: George Hecker, Hank Myers, Richard Edwards, Dorothy Regis, Jim Ronay
and Joan Goe ring.
George Hecker, Chairman called the meeting to order.
On Monday, January 12, 1976 the City Council appointed Joan Goering to serve
on the Urban Affairs Committee. Joan lives at 5491 - 134th Street and her
phone number is 423-2607.
The committee discussed the Abandoned Vehicles infonnation received fmm
the League of Municipalities.
It was decided to draft a Wine Only License before going on with the Abandoned
Vehicles as it is going to require a lot of time. The committee spent the
rernainder of the meeting going over the infonnation on the Wine On1y License.
They plan to comoar.e it to the City 's present Liquor Ordinances at the next
meeting and draw up a first draft of an ordinance.
