URBAN AFFIARS COMMITTEE MINUTES
Apple Valley Villa ge Ha11, Thursday� December 4, 1975� 7:30 p.m.
Present; Ronay, Regis, Boston, Edwards, Hecker, Myers.
George Hecker, Chairman called the meeting to order.
Discussed Wine Licensing Ordinance. Went over materials received fran the
League of Minnesota Municipalities; a Model Wine Licensing Ordinance and
copies of Ordina.nces from Nisswa and Sherlx.irn, Minnesota.
Discussion: Is it necessary to draw up a new ordinance or can the present
liquor license ordina.nce be ammended? Discussed drawing up a new ordina nce
rather than ammending, Does Apple Valley issue a general liquor license?
Per Dick Aslesen -- Do not want the present liquor license ammended --
draw up a NEW ordinance. Apple Va11ey now issues a Private On-Sale
Liquor License.
Dennis Boston has materials fro m th e Minnesota League of Municipalities
on Abandoned d. Junk Automobiles. Copies will be sent out to al1 m�nbers
of the committee.
. Committee wlll cancel the scheduled December 18, 1975 meeting and the
meeting for the lst Thursday in January -- would fa11 on January 1, 1976.
The next Urban t�ffair Committee meeting will be on January 15, 1976 at
7:30 at the Village Hall.
The committee wi11 study the information they have on the Wine License
Ordinance and the information on Abandoned and Junk Automobiles --
wi11 work on both ordinances at their n.ext meeting.
