Edwards and Clint Dixon. � Vice Chairman Meyers called the meeting to order. Rick iz¢Iley reported that City Administrator Asleson has recommended that the licenses all expire at the same time on December 31 of each year. The Committee agreed to change Section 3, Subd. 2 to read as follows: "A11 licenses should be valid for the calendar year in which it is issued. A11 licenses will expire on December 31st." Rick pointed out that Section 13 is the same as the enabling legislation. It was noted that in Section 14 the Council can exempt organizations from the licenses, fee, number of inembers, etc. However, the record keeping is still necessary. Rick Kelley noted that if we exeinpt them from the requirement that they have a license, they would have to have a license, however, the. fee could be exempt. It was noted that the City would have to have a record of the fact that an organization is conducting bingo. Bill Smith questioned the need for the $100.00 license fee; he sugge�ted an annual lice�se fee and a one time bingo occasion fee. He asked about the organization being exempt from keeping records. Rick Kelley noted that alZ the organizations would have to keep records. John McKa:y suggested goirig with a one time fee of $50 or $30. The�e was some discussion on the fee str�cture and the Committee agreed to a $IJO.QO annual Ticense or a $25.00 fee per bingo occasion. Under Section 14 the Committee agreed to delete "County Fair,�` Section 15 in the sample ordinance and Section 17 were left as printed and SEction 16 was deleted. Meeting adjourned.
