TYze Urban Affair� �ommittee recommends the following criteria be fcallflwed during the trial pera.caci far curb�id.e g�arbage pick�»up: 1. Garbage is ta be placed a.n specia�. conta�.ners r�n carts--c+ne type bein� Zarn container�--at the curb. 2. No debris is tn be al.lawed araund the special conta�.ner�.--�a11 other �arbage wi1.3. be left within t�n feet of th� struet�.re. (The present drd3.nance sh.ould be clarified to state garbage cans be placed wa.thin '1t3 f�et of the �trueture.) 3. The carrier is r�spon�ible for collecting �all garbage-=that left in the sp�cial eantainers and any left in front of one��s struc�ure. 4. The carrier must tag ma.splaced �arba�e anc�. the hau3.er muat notify the awner nf his �.11.-p1aeed �arba�e. (The hauler should keep a 2og c�f tags �a.ven out.) 5. One hundred homes will be in�rolved for a six-month trial peric�d. Thi� peri.ad will be �ram December 1 , 1981 to �Iay 31, 19$2, 6. Garba�e will be cc�llected only one day a week. 7. Garba�e cantainers may be out from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 8. Monthly reports should be received from �he Inspect3on Aepartment. 9.
